June 10

First morning shift today. Got up about 6 a.m. and took some sunrise pictures, ate breakfast, and went to work. I was on cash register again- it's busy, fun and I get to talk to people from all around the country. Most are campers, but today one family was from the D.C. area, passing through on a road trip. Staff enjoyed a "braut day" lunch today, a bi-monthly picnic phenomenon with ice cream, Polish sausage, and of course, brauts. After lunch, I attended yet another equipment clinic- Vasque (hiking boots) and Black Diamond (headlights, hiking poles, and small packs). I got a free fleece hat and pair of socks... very exciting, because I needed more socks. Tomorrow I climb Baldy Mountain, the tallest on the ranch at 12,441 ft.
