Crater Lake

Crater Lake is more like Crater Pond. There's a great view of the Tooth of Time from the cabin porch. Staff there believe the year is 1914.

They're lumberjacks: they spar poles, chop wood, and cut down trees. At night they have a campfire full of music (in addition to the usual guitars, they have an accordian).

I didn't stay long- just for lunch- but they told their usual sob story, how their "logger children" need baked goods to survive. They say, "You can help" and hold up the sign you see in the picture.
