July 8. Native American cliff dwellings. Pueblo cliff dwellings to be exact. We drove to Bandelier National Monument near Santa Fe. There were quite a few tourists there, but we managed to check out the many homes in the cliffs.
One of the dwellings was 140 feet up a series of ladders. It was a big ceremonial cave-like space; pretty cool. In the middle, there was a ladder leading to a "basement" room. We took some pictures there...
Scenic overlook. We had to stop. I felt if I looked hard enough, I could see a coyote chasing a roadrunner... I didn't though.
