I had lunch at a place called Pizza Outback today. It's literally out back behind a building, but they serve awesome pizza in huge, filling slices. If you're ever in Taos, New Mexico, check it out. We also went to Wal-Mart for necessities (chapstick, contact solution, and squirt guns). It was hot- when I checked the temperature, it was 96 degrees. Tomorrow starts the beginning of regular hours at the trading post. Campers arrive on Monday. I've been here a week- it feels like a month, and I love it. Philmont truly is timeless.
