June 3
Today, training consisted of clinics by Ex-Officio (apparel) and Columbia Sportswear. Ex-Officio makes an antimicrobial (bacteria-resistant) underwear that doesn't have to be washed for six weeks, in case you wanted to know. Columbia gave us free stickers, water bottles and a bracelets that turn purple when it's exposed to UV rays. The Columbia rep brought his dog, Hank, to the clinic too. Also, I came up with an idea to display bumper stickers in our store- using a real bumper. Now, I'm sitting on the porch of the staff activity center listening to a duo play "Shady Grove", the mountains in plain view to the side.

ReplyDeleteWow that would significantly reduce my laundry loads! Go from a whole drawer down to two pairs.
That certainly is a novel idea. I know a few scouts who would get use out of that....
